NewslettersNews Update April 2012 Welcome to the April 2012 edition of the Triart newsletter. A lot of customers have asked for a deep rebate moulding. So we have created the new 94 series.
Here is a better view of the embossing.
As you can see, the 94 profile has a very deep 90mm rebate. To view these on our web site please click here. We have also added to the 22 profile by introducing embossed gold and silver versions.
You can see these on our web site by clicking here. Our 400, 600 and 700 profiles are proving to be very popular. Some customers look at the 700 profile and think it is just for mirrors but the 700 profile looks great around fine art as well.
My thanks to Stefan and Craig at Jubilee Framers in Queensland for the photo. If you have created a great piece using a Triart moulding then we would love to see it. We have also added a silver line version to many of our slips. To show you how easy it is to find mouldings on our web site try this experiment. Go to the website www.triart.com.au and in the search box type in IVSL. That will show all mouldings which have IVSL as part of their code. Finally, we have been running a special discount on our chop service but this expires on the 30th of April. That's all for now. Cheers
Harry
News Update March 2012 Just a quick reminder that we offer a chop service. To encourage you to use the chop service we are offering a special discount. For the months of March and April 2012 we will reduce the chop service markup to 40%. Obviously when ordering we will need you to supply the measurements and please also specify whether it is "art size", "sight size" or "external". With "art size" we normally allow 2mm so for example, if you order a chop service of 500mm x 700mm then we would normally supply 502mm x 702mm. Of course, if you don't want the extra 2mm then just make that clear when ordering. That's all for now. Cheers Harry Ph 0412 185 556 harry@triart.com.au News Update 16 February 2012 I hope you are well and that 2012 is a good year for you. We are looking forward to a big year at Triart. One of our main aims this year is better communication with our customers. We want to know your thoughts on what we are doing and what we could do better. We want to regularly update you with all the new things happening at Triart. So, welcome to the first edition of the Triart newsletter. This is our first step in improving communication. If you have time, have a look at our new website www.triart.com.au . It's early days and we still have more photos to upload but it should make it easier for you to browse the full Triart catalogue. We have recently introduced the new 600 profile. After talking to customers we realized that the 600 needs a sharper top edge to have a more contemporary feel so the new stock will be less rounded and therefore sharper at the top edge.
Also, some customers mentioned it would be good if the height of the 700 profile could be lowered by 2mm as it would allow for easier cutting with their saw. They also mentioned that the rebate is too wide and swallows up too much of any slip placed inside. So we are going to shave 2mm off the bottom and narrow the width of the rebate. So, we are listening. If you have ideas for improvements, let us know. Being small and local we can respond quickly to good ideas. To remind customers of our Australian made status we are putting little stickers on our new corner samples. If you would like extra stickers for your current corner samples, just call us.
There are lots of other things happening but I will save them up for the next newsletter.
That's all for now. Cheers Harry Ph 0412 185 556 harry@triart.com.au
